Code snippet color (without JS)

I don't typically disable javascript or anything, but when I first loaded the page, the syntax highlighting code didn't execute for a bit, somewhat simulating the experience. I noticed that the resulting snippets were basically unreadable -- white on white:

Perhaps they should be changed? This is on the landing page, and potentially other places too.
