How to get to the error message "Aborted Add operation as it seemed to be going on forever..."

We currently use the point octree in our software. We recognize several errors due to the failure message described in the issue title. We assume that there are too many points for the octree to handle, is this correct? Sadly we do not have contact to our customers and can not obtain their project. So we have to do this on our own.

What should we do to get to this error? Can this be handled with min node or world size ctor parameter?
