BirdWeather No Longer Accepts .WAV Files — Request for .FLAC Support

I’ve confirmed with Tim from BirdWeather that .wav file uploads are no longer supported. Unfortunately, this breaks the entire BirdWeather integration.

To restore functionality, would it be possible to add support for .flac file uploads?

You should NOT use this old McGuire version of BirdNET-Pi! It hasn't been updated in years and is not compatible with the latest version of Raspberry OS - Bookworm. Install the Nachtzuster version instead. It is a further development of McGuire and has better coding, more features, compatibility with the latest OS and is updated continuously. Uploading flac files is solved in Nachtzuster and will never be in McGuire. The link below also describes how to migrate from McGuire.
