Sidebar closes when clicking on suggestion found with angucomplete-alt

I put a form into the sidebar, and I use angucomplete-alt to show suggestions while typing new characters into a text input. The problem is when I click on a suggestion, the text input is set but unfortunately the sidebar closes.

What can I do to maintain the sidebar open? I have to fill many inputs, so it's embarrassing to open again the sidebar after completing every input.
