High latency

First of all, thanks for making this project!

I was testing the real-time counter on the homepage and found it to be laggy. Which caused me to wonder about how much of latency bottleneck is the network vs the implementation. Have any comparisons been done with Phoenix liveview in terms of latency? Are there plans to track it and bring it further down?

It should be mostly network, it depends on where you are in the world. https://mayu.live/ is deployed in Sweden and Colombia so if you're somewhere else you will experience latency. I'm in Sweden and I get around 12ms ping on WiFi and 40-60ms on mobile. On my local machine I get around 5ms.
