outdated material theme builder on m3.material.io

i'm interested in using the latest material design guidelines, including the recently updated surfaces. i noticed a discrepancy between the official material docs theme builder at https://m3.material.io/theme-builder#/ and the material theme builder at https://material-foundation.github.io/material-theme-builder/. the latter seems to have the latest additions to the spec.

having multiple resources with varying levels of updates creates confusion, especially for new users. would it be possible to consolidate the most current information into a single, easily discoverable location?

P.S. has https://material-foundation.github.io/material-theme-builder/ the same features/updates as the figma plugin?
