Resize header or sidebar

Hello,

I'd make a lot of change in my theme and I stuck on resizing the header or the sidebar, I don't know who handle the free space. image

As you can see on this screen, I'm not using the search bar and I want that my items in the sidebar start closest to the website logo. Something like that should be OK image The best thing will be my margin at the top fo the logo will be the same as the margin on the bottom.

Can you help me on this issue please ?
