[Bug]: Empty parts of Menu in Ubuntu 22.04

Describe the bug

Hi, I have just installed massCode in Ubuntu 22.04 and I get an error with the menu. Several options of the menu are completely empty ( empty).

I installed it several times with the --dangerous option (with and without it) and always the same error.

I updated my system with many new libraries for Electron, just in case. And also updated some libraries following this.

The problem also persists on the following versions: 22.10 and 23.04

Just installed mass code on fresh Ubuntu, and also have similar problem (empty menu items), and after click on example :

MassCode version : masscode_3.10.0_amd64.snap Ubuntu version : Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

update menu items: masscode : empty, and after click "force to quit" file : empty, and after click "force to quit" view : menu items are displayed ok edit : menu items are displayed ok editor : empty, and after click "force to quit" markdown : empty, and after click "force to quit" history : empty, and after click "force to quit" help : menu items are displayed ok - about masscode : OK - website : OK ... - redirection to websites OK

other notes : if a menu item is empty, and we stay long enough on it software is affecting OS to the point that everything is slowing down considerably, but after "force to quit" everything recovers

Arch here and install as snap.

Similar issue with a few Window Items.

tried changed the font but no dice.

Great app. However I have the same issue on Ubuntu 23.10 and 24.04. Several options of the menu are completely empty ( empty). Please, there is a way to fix this?
