State of OS X version

At the moment, the version for Apple's OS X is pretty much broken. I could fix it, however the problem is the Cocoa back-end is simply outdated. I'm curios, do you have an intent to merge in the latest ZDoom changes? If so, it won't be a problem to repair the build for OS X.
