ignore watched repository
If we watch a repository, we automatically subscribe to each thread. I think we can either ignore watched repository, or collapse them into a single row.
Hi @franklinyu
As the extension works now we are adding threads that you are already subscribed automatically when you visit the thread url. It doesn't consider if the repository was watched or not, so we don't have that information currently.
I would not ignore them because the goal with the subscribed tab is to have all your subscribed threads on it.
Why you think we should ignore them or collapse them?
For example I’m now watching a repository where there is hundreds of issues. Sooner or later there will be tens of issues (imagine 70+) from the very same repository, flushing the page. The “subscribed” page would get really long, and I need to scroll for some time to get to other issues. It is not yet the case, but it is expected.
Or at least add a button to collapse them?
Yes.
Collapsing them will be a good feature, and it would also solve your issue.
I did a proof of concept of collapsing the repo boxes here is a screenshot

It would be something like that but icons instead of the 'More' and 'Less' label and I dont think it would work 😕 . If you are watching hundreds of repo you will see all those boxes without the items but you would still have to scroll.
Maybe having the repo listed below the Subscribed button like when you are in 'Unread' or 'All Notifications' is better.
No I don’t watch hundreds of repos, I just have one watched repo with many issues. Even for some crazy guys who watches hundreds of repos, being able to collapse will at least not make situation worse, if not better.
@franklinyu Is this still an issue?
Yes, why not?
