I testet following in a console program - I have replaced connection information in the examples shown here. **both Sync and async version - doesn't respond back on filesAdded, FilesDeleted...
I played around with it for a couple of hours - does work fine - maybe a small change would be to put restart time in the try catch finally...

@FanDjango basically what I want is ability to "subscribe" to events on a certain ftp folders. So when files are being added to a particular folder I would be notified....
