Package not working on web

Hello!

Great package thank you for this! On pub.dev this package is marked as being compatible with web and while the it doesn't crash or anything, the requests fail on CORS. I don't think the standalone API is meant to be called from a web client, but I'm not sure. Simplest solution would be to unlist it as web compatible so that others don't get so confused as I as to why it's not working.
