Help interpreting data in krona graph

Hi,

I recently ran metaQUAST to compare my contig assemblies (MEGAHIT vs metaSPades) and part of their script incorporates krona graph outputs. In any case I got the following result but am having trouble deciphering what the number on the top right hand corner means (Total: 2274862). Does this pertain to the number of contigs that aligned to a reference genome? Please see the image below for your reference :) Screen Shot 2019-04-15 at 12 04 24 PM
