unabled to connect to lxd server?

ive tried to install tins by building. after fixing a missing definition (State.ENABLED instead of ENABLED [ContainerListBoxRow:60]) the app wont connect to lxd. did i miss something?

tins complains about curl (7) could not connect to server. ive tracked that down to lxd_client.getInstances()

thrown in MainWindow:53,74 Application:65,70

althought dbind fails to connect to socket in tmp directory
