Media fast-forward and reverse controls
Is there a way to control the media as it plays? I sourced a whole movie (about 90 minutes long) in my Mapmap project. About half way through playing the movie my Mac crashed. I found no way to skip forward after restarting my Mac. Do such controls exist and I am just unaware of them? -Frank
Hi! I think there are OSC controls to do that. Isn't there a seek message? It should work on mac, if built from dev.
A workaround on Mac OS X: Use the Quicktime Player app to record the video to a .mov file. Play the mapped video using the Quicktime Player app, instead of playing from Mapmap. The Quicktime Player app gives you controls to fast forward, reverse, and skip to parts on a timeline. -Frank
