The control points are not visible on a white background, since it's white
We should make them both black and white, not just white. (one white stroke next to a black stroke)
I meant: the vertices, when canvas contrôle are visible.
Suggested solutions:
- Allow inverting color of controls using a menu / hotkey (QAction) (from white to black)
- Allow changing the color of controls in the preferences
- A combination of these two things (ie. two settings for color "dark" and "pale").
In fact for (1): "black" could not work. It has to be some kind of color. Maybe some kind of blue or green.
Black and white is my suggestion.

Yes but black on black is not going to work ;) Unless the option inverts both the background and the controls.
Black and white. No option. And black sreoke and a white stroke one pixel next to it.
