Inconsistent Mapillary image markers and highlighting
Whats the difference between the big and small image markers? How come two of them are highlighted at once?

@planemad Agreed, this is a bug. @ajithranka on tapping any other photo in the trail or using shortcuts/image viewer, the highlight on the larger icon should be removed. Highlight should only map to the image being shown.
Another example while using the Image viewer on the left:

The two highlights are intentional. The images that capture the detected object (the large markers) can be part of different trails. We need to highlight both the large marker and the smaller one to indicate which detected image's trail we are currently looking at and the position of the currently viewed image in that trail.
The part that can be confusing here is that if two or more of the capturing images are part of the same trail then clicking on another capturing image is going to shift the highlight to that image. Clicking any other image on the trail will highlight both the capturing image and the currently selected image. That's the case here:

Let me know if we can make this more intuitive. What should the ideal behaviour be?
@ajithranka Any possibility of highlighting the trail instead of keeping the icon highlighted? I would want higher opacity + thicker weight for the trail that is selected. Do you think that’s easy to implement?
@rasagy That would make more sense 👍 . I had some difficult trying to implement it before, but let me give it another shot.
@ajithranka can you share the link to the location in the gif? This would be handy while testing instead of looking for a good spot. Have another one:http://mapbox.github.io/osm-navigation-map/#17.76/52.52974/13.46096
It's the same gif from your comment ^ :(
@ajithranka oh 💩. Reminder to myself to post links.
