Data Colours - MapBox visual - PowerBI

Is it possible to create custom data colours that STAY, even if Item changes - eg values in data colours appear/dissappear/reappear in a daily basis (depending on date range) - we can set a custom colours for each item, but if one item does not display for one day, the colour will default back to a randomly assigned, not custom set. Even if it could get data colours from a lookup table supplied by user to keep consistancy in data colours?, Thanks
