Meta-issue: Automatically closing reports for bugs that you haven't fixed yet is a terrible policy

Your 'stale' bot appears to comment on reports that have been inactive for 6 months asking for more details (regardless of how many have been provided), then closes the report (after only 1 hour!). This results in legitimate bugs like #1044 being closed without a fix. I'm sure you're aware that bugs make your product less attractive to potential customers like me, and closing reports without fixing the issue makes you look unprofessional and motivates me to look for an alternative that is better managed.

Thank you @camelCaseSucks for the report, we truly appreciate your interest in the project. We discussed your note today as a team and we decided to take the following actions:

• We've decided to continue using Stale bot for this repo. While it sometimes closes tickets we would like to keep open, this is normally the exception and it continues to bring value to the team's workflow, particularly around closing that are non-actionable or no longer relevant. This helps us have an up to date queue that simplifies prioritization. We'll revisit this decision periodically.
• We're changing the configuration of Stale bot to include a new confirmed label that will make tickets exempt from automatic closing. This is moving here: https://github.com/mapbox/mapbox-plugins-android/pull/1106.
• We've reopened https://github.com/mapbox/mapbox-plugins-android/issues/1044, and I've applied this new label to the ticket.
