Let's make mailman more attractive

Since we have friendly competition now, I think this project would benefit from a more welcoming appearance in general.

• [ ] a pleasant little logo
• [ ] better copywriting on the readme page
• [ ] proper hexdoc documentation, instead of a wall of text
• [ ] hex/CI badges

Any other ideas welcome!
