Bug/Feature Request: Playback speed only lasts for that podcast play
I would expect playback speed to be configurable on both the global level and the podcast level, in addition to the "playback" level. The latter would only override the other settings for that podcast/play.
From what I've encountered, I think only that latter scenario is currently in place.
100% true. I agree that there should be multiple ways to set this based on the users preference. On each podcast in the podcast specific settings and also set for all podcasts regardless of which one.
It is just the playback level currently. We aren't storing the preferred playback speed anywhere.
A very extensive playback speed implementation has been added. You can now set the default global speed in settings and speeds specific to individual shows. The show takes priority.
