If you close the file and attempt the fillet again it works. But subsequent attempts fail.
This was confirmed by @chennes. Any geometry will exhibit the issue. No file required.

Sorry, IF I remember right, the file was being created with root ownership and the typical user couldn't update it. I did not have this issue on the recent PC...
Blender 4.3, FreeCAD 1.1.0dev, Debian 12. No sudo used. When adding Sverchok to Blender I needed to specify the location of the FreeCAD .so files.
