I don't understand what simplifier does. Is it really useful for almost users?

Actually, it’s mostly a visitor. I’m not so sure it is really useful, but I left it in the pull request.

Okay. I will just cherry-pick the first two commits. The last commit should be located at contrib directory, for now.
