TROJAN ALERT.
Why relases Trojan alert? https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/55b45d03c28115f95b62c47909628bc65f4afea26e547e2bedc4f7430d6829fd
False positives. I just did a recompilation with similar scanning result https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/1937746f0bc1645296706377b83ec3d1059a8f7cef4506b78177b45f0e252b69?nocache=1
Since fixing all the false positives can be a very time consuming process, you are encouraged to inspect the code and compile it yourself if concerned
I just recompiled the latest code using Visual Studio 2019, with "Release - x64" configuration, and now it's only 2/72 detections. Can you try it yourself? https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d23f1384a00b8535a272fa66b5cf4016e3b550618393465d3cb10e0f5c6b74f1?nocache=1
If everything is fine, then can you also update the release? Because Windows 10 keeps deleting the current release after each system update, even with fully disabled Defender.
@m2jean
@VladiStep Thanks for the info. I've recompiled it with VS 2022 on Win 10. The new binary passed all scans on VirusTotal https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/3a1de1308793d86231eaea889381fe233b5e2b6a242ea5084e4cf8f988b551e6
