Setting the scale within R

Open seanaller opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

Hi there,

I'm using BioCircos to create some plasmid mapping maps, with a custom genome and 6 arc tracks. however, I've found that the plot is unable to be viewed in full (i.e. no matter how much I zoom out, the plot is always cut-off at some section).

I have a slight workaround in that I can edit the scale paramter once loaded into a web browser via HTML export), but I'm wondering if there is a way to do this on the R command line when plotting the BioCircos()?

Hi Sean,

What browser are you using and in which OS? Are you trying to see the plots directly from Rstudio? I didn't notice this behavior so far. See for instance the online vignette, that should be displayed correctly: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/BioCircos/vignettes/BioCircos.html Cheers.

Hi Loan,

So I'm using Windows 10, and I've tried this in both Firefox and Chrome. I've tried both looking at the plots in RStudio, but also exporting them to HTML and viewing them through the browser.

In the vignette they show up fine in my current browser. I'm not entirely sure where the error is stemming from... although for now I at least have a workaround!

Best, Sean
