finished porting most of the function regionprops to pymorph. I think it could augment the blob-function and should be largely syntax-compatible to the matlab/octave-function.

@Tarrasch Some of this you can find in mahotas?

Is there anything that you really want that is not in mahotas? I prefer to centre my development efforts there.

@luispedro I haven't checked out mahotas that much yet. Has it subsumed pymorph by now? I thought "Mahotas is faster but pymorph has more functions". Is that incorrect?

That is still correct, but difference is becoming smaller with each mahotas release. And mahotas has other functionality that pymorph does not.

I think that most of regionprops would already be in mahotas, for example.
