Seems like PreMiD released a new standalone extension that doesn't need a desktop application.

It is not official supported by discord. But we are already planning to look into it.

Discord did not give us the permissions to use it. So nothing we can do there.

They are whitelisted by discord

heard that discord now allows everybody to use it. https://discord.com/developers/docs/topics/rpc#setactivity
