Pound sign/hashtag (#) in URLs generates pages

Open ianhellstrom opened this issue 3 years ago • 0 comments

What happened?

I added a URL in plain Markdown [some text](https://bla.bla/stuff/?id=123456#/my/file-recent) and that ended up creating a page with a hierarchy my/file-recent. That is clearly wrong. The same is also true of URLs that end in a #. These cause a page to be created w[[#]], which upon clicking freezes Logseq.

This may only happen if you copy-paste the link first and then create a Markdown wrapper around it, but the problem stands. URLs should not be turned into pages.

Reproduce the Bug

  1. Add a link with a # in it.
  2. See that the pages are created inadvertently.

Expected Behavior

Pound signs in URLs should not be parsed into pages.
