We almost never use linux aarch64 to perform bioinformatics analysis. Can it process very large genome Fasta files?

I have tested with fasta files available in readme and in tests but I need a sample for very large genome fasta file to test it in on aarch64. Could you please provide the same if you have any sample?

@lmdu Why wouldn't aarch64 support very large genome Fasta files?

Regarding not using it (yet), aarch64 has high energy efficiency and is used in all new macs.

As further motivation, minimap supports aarch64, see https://github.com/lh3/minimap2/blob/822ccd173358f11842b6dc54e17bbdcc2d9a0a9a/README.md?plain=1#L88
