Get “main blog” post ID for same post thumbnail through blogs

Hi Dennis,

I need to share Media Library on Multisite installation. Since Network Shared Media doesn't support featured image (even the dev version) I wonder if it's possible, with your plugin, to get the post (or page, or anything else) ID from the “main” blog and use it as ID parameter for get_the_post_thumbnail in order to display the same featured image also for linked posts (translations). I know it's not the main purpose of Multisite Language Switcher, but maybe you had a similar need and fixed somehow ;-)
