Feature request: step forward/backward through log one commit at a time

It would be nice to have the ability to step through changes one at a time, going forward in time or backward. The time graph is amazing but lacks the ability to fine tune looking at differences made between commits over time. Instead of this graph (or in addition to it) it would be nice to have a "step forward" and "step backward" control that moves the time marker and updates the view of the code one commit at a time.
