Is there a version of this template for gitlab?

Hi

I have heard about this template, and I would like to use it in a future project, but my group uses gitlab instead of GitHub. Do you have, or have you thought about creating, a similar template for gitlab?

Hi thanks for the question! Honestly, we haven't put in a lot of effort to support gitlab. Not for any particular reason, mostly just because our group primarily uses github and no one has asked for it yet :)

I believe that a large portion of the template will port over naturally to gitlab, clearly with the exception of the various .github actions. I would have to do some investigation to see how easily those could be transformed.

Would this template still be useful for you if the CI/CD actions didn't work in gitlab? Or are those actions the primary reason you would want to adopt the template?

Hi @drewoldag Thanks for the reply. To answer your last question, I would be interested in testing the repo even without the CI or developing Gitlab CI templates for our user case, but I haven't had the time to go into details about your template. Let me explore it more, and I'll get back to you.
