Possible bug
I found when running analysis mode that KataGo sometimes (but seldom) include illegal moves in the list of suggested moves. Attached is an image of a such position, where the illegal move C6 is included in the list of moves for white.
Used version: KataGo 1.13 for TensorRT.
Some Go rulesets allow self-capture. You are presumably running KataGo with rules that allow it. Check your config for what rules you are specifying (and/or Sabaki's settings if Sabaki is setting some rules that override the rules in the config, I forget if Sabaki is one of the GUIs that does that).
I use the tromp-taylor ruleset. I did not know that they allow suicide moves, which I know now thanks to Google.
The suicide moves I have seen occur so infrequently that I have assumed that they were not supposed to be there. This is my bad entirely. :)
Also: Thanks for developing KataGo! I have used it both for studying Go and for Go software projects, and I enjoy it alot!
