Masters of the Universe, Maze-A-Tron and Frog Bog unplayable
All tested on retroarch 1.7.7 on latest core available on retroarch cores repository, on windows 10.
Masters of the Universe - The Power of He-Man! (1983)(Mattel)
- He-man's ship crashes down automatically, making the game unplayable at all
Frog Bog (1982)(Mattel)
- Eating an insect might make the scoring go in loop and causing strange behaviors as the score goes up
TRON - Maze-A-Tron (1981)(Mattel)
- Big graphic stuttering during scrolling
- Sometimes hitting a spark cause the damage to go in loop. (similar to scoring in frog bog) It seems to stop the loop when hitting some chips like the flipflop ones.
Excuse me but, while the problem is indeed corrected in Masters of the Universe, (congrats and thanks for this) the two other games are still glitching.
Frog Bog indeed stopped infinitely getting points. But it still "tries" to do it. Whcih can lead to getting ridiculously high scores that are normally impossible to reach.
And as for Maze-a-Tron, nothing changed. Screen stutters, hitting a spark might do damage in loop or not and the player's force field is glitched.
Masters of the Universe still exhibits fireballs which 'jump'. Can compare current behavior (1.9.10) to this real-hardware capture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEmAfSKX6bw
