CardDAV sync does not work with DAVdroid (Android)

It seems, that contacts+ is also affected by the following bug: https://github.com/owncloud/contacts/issues/581

This bug is the root cause for CardDAV sync problems with the default Owncloud contacts app: https://github.com/owncloud/contacts/issues/979

And unfortunately on my testing environment, I encountered exactly the same behaviour with contacts+. CardDAV sync does not work with DAVdroid (widely used app for CardDAV/CalDAV sync in Android): https://github.com/bitfireAT/davdroid/issues/578
