No examples of MenuItem.icon property

I think it would be nice to have an example of the icon property for MenuItem, especially since it only takes String? as an argument. What can I/should I put there?

I have looked into the source and it doesn't look like the icon property does anything currently. Is this something that's being planned? I would mark it deprecated/unused if not! :)
