Buttons become black on hover/select
I'm not using dvdauthor directly, but kdenlive, dvdstyler and bombono give similar results.
just a simple menu (black color + background image) with some buttons on it
when playing dvd, the first selected option is just black, when moving over it, the underline is visible, but no text anymore.
there is one over an image without text and hovering over that, just becomes black too...
the kdvd file from kdenlive is something like this:

Can you capture the actual control files and associated images being fed to DVDAuthor?
I captured the log output, for some reason, kdenlive showed empty in the tab for dvdauthor, but i did find some stuff in /tmp including xml files
DVDAuthor::spumux, version 0.7.2+.

I'm assuming it's in the qTKEyh.xml file; i donno why it's spu with a bunch of buttons in it?
maybe the highlight is making all of it black?
it probably worked in older versions? did something change?
