Inpainting the non masked region is broken from way before, it looks. I checked out a2feaa95fc0c4c94131eb75b5b1bc0eaa1696551, before the gradio tool changes, and it's still broken there.

It's a big change, so difficult to review. It might be related to #6898 but I have no real idea how to debug it.
