Not able to start KKflashtool
Hi lazyzero
I have downloaded the zip file and I have extracted it. When I doubleclick on the file kkflashtool_win32.exe the program will not start. But some files are created:
error.log kkLogging.txt output.log And also a file called kkLogging.txt.lck I'm not able to upload this file to github.
Any suggestions on what can be wrong?
Download the firmwares.xml from here https://kkflashtool.de/en/modellbau/kkmulticopterflashtool/firmwares/start and copy it to C:\Users\Svein Tore Narvestad\Downloads\kkmulticopterflashtool_0.77\tmp\
I think the problem is that my website changed to much. So links for flashing online will also not work. So download the firmware you liek to flash from the same website and flash manually

Ok, I guess I have to flash manually. I have no idea what that would be. But, after a search, is it something like this?
avrdude.exe -P COM3 -b 19200 -c avrisp -p m8 -v -e -U flash:w:"D:KK2_1V6KK2_1V6kk2.hex":i
This is an example found for flashing from arduino. Of course this will not be correct for me. maybe I can find the options here? f https://avrdudes.github.io/avrdude/7.1/avrdude_3.html#Option-Descriptions
BTW my main problem is that Ihave so called blank problem with my KK boards. And reinstalling the firmware is said to solve that problem.

You can still use the kkflashtool for manual flashing. Even when the embeded avrdude is not working on Win11 you will be able to see the avrdude command and use that with avrdude 7.1
But the kkflashtool will not run on my computer.

Hi!
So the problem is solved (partly) I got the right usbasp driver. And then the kkflashtool started, and did the job.
But, unfortunately, the blank screen error is still there.

Hi Lazyzero,
The exe file does not launch. I tried downloading the .xml file and adding in the tmp file. But nothing happens.
The .77 version throws a Java4j error even though the path is set and the .9 beta version does not launch.
Please advise.
Note: I am trying to fix a kk2.1.5 blank screen issue.
