LN_LAYER_SMOOTH issue with single slice fMRI data

Dear LAYNII Experts,

I have a question regarding LN_LAYER_SMOOTH. Could you please confirm if this function is compatible with single-slice fMRI time series data? I tried using it with an FWHM equal to 1.5 times the voxel size, but it appears that the smoothing has minimal effect on the layer profile results.
