LibBi Installation on Linux

Hi,

I installed LibBi on Linux 16 & Linux 20, and in both instances I get this error:

"Stash.c: loadable library and perl binaries are mismatched (got handshake key 0xcd00080, needed 0xed00080)"

Any idea for solving it?

I installed LibBi on a machine with Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS, and am having exactly the same problem.

Perhaps this is due to the fact that I at first tried to install LibBi directly, without using homebrew, and something stayed from the first install? I tried setting PERL5 env variables, and several other options, but to no avail.

The direct install of LibBi didn't work because LibBi didn't find the thrust headers, even though I had them installed both using the Ubuntu package and directly at /usr/local/include.

I gave up & opted for trying POMP. LiBBi is not supported anymore, so I think we should stay away from it.
