I closing this since it worked using Google Chrome as the browser. I was using Firefox with ublock Origin, Dark Reader and Bitwarden as extensions. Maybe ublock blocks MAL's process.
Solution: Change your default browser to Chrome and authenticate then switch back to Firefox.
Update: does not resolve after turning the abovementioned extensions off and the solution is only a workaround, opening.
Tried doing some things, removing user.email permissions from PAT and setting up the email onto my Github noreply address. This does work. Note: I have enabled Keep my email addresses...
After some testing, the json part of the post method call breaks stuff. In the spec document, it says this: > This is an HTTP form. NOT a Json payload....
