Context menu: primary button does not close menu

On Windows when you open menu and try to close by clicking (primary mouse button) outside of the menu area, it will flicker, but will not close. The menu will close when you click secondary mouse button. The right click menu is behaving correctly though.

It's probably something I messed up while rebasing the ui events change one of the many many times I did that. Should be a quick fix

Ok doesn't look like a ui events related change. might be because of the change to layout_rect. if you click much further away does it still happen?

Yes, it is still happening no matter how far away I will click. But it will close when will click with primary mouse button on window menu or window top panel as shown below:
