Description of the bug

-When I call anyone the receiver can't hear my audio well, it attenuates my microphone as well as my audio. If I try accessing the settings in menu bar the app crashes and quits. When I restart background music same thing happens, but no crashing if accessing menu options.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the bug. This usually doesn't need to be super detailed.

  1. Have Background music running
  2. Call someone on FaceTime
  3. Receiver of call notices my microphone level is low
  4. Click Background Music menu bar to click on FaceTime volume, then App crashes
  5. When it crashes audio is repaired according to receiver of call.

I have exactly the same behavior, with the exception that it doesn't crash on me. No matter what I change, the voice is barely audible to the other person.

The only solution I found that works is if it crashes or I quit the app.

Try the snapshot 0.4.0-SNAPSHOT-b38f6dd

Try the snapshot 0.4.0-SNAPSHOT-b38f6dd

Even though I'm using Monterey, it'll be ok to use that version?

Snapshot won't work. Whenever I have a video or audio call, when output is set to Background Music, input is set to my external microphone (anything other than Background Music), the other party on the call cannot hear me clearly. It is confirmed not a network issue, but a background music issue. But what amazed me is it affects the microphone which is not a virtual audio driver. Can someone confirm this is a bug and get it resolved soon?
