Datepicker not working as expected

Thank you sir for your work. I tried to use the "date" ionic input element on Firefox but it didn't work as expected (it worked only like a normal textfield without any value check). Normally it should show a datepicker at the bottom of the screen but it didn't. On Google Chrome, I tried the same element and was only able to spin the year/month/day and use a "non-responsive" looking datepicker by clicking on buttons on the right of the date input element. Thanks for your help!
