Performance vs directly using webgl
Interesting project, Is there actually a performance gain or does that get lost because of the overhead of sending all the commands over to the ui thread? Some performance numbers would be interesting.
I'm working on a blogpost now. But basically it looks like for reasonable workloads WebGLWorker is about as fast as running normally on the main thread. Sometimes it's a little faster, sometimes a little slower.
