AngScope without firebug?

Would it be possible to modify AngScope so that it wouldn't need FireBug and use the built-in dom inspector instead? The thing is, FireBug makes some page loads really painfully slow (20s instead of 1s).

Update: Actually, Firebug 3 is pretty fast but AngScope doesn't work with it. Can that be fixed?

The Firebug extension isn't being developed or maintained any longer. We invite you to use the Firefox DevTools instead, which ship with Firebug.next. See also Migration from Firebug guide.

Since we're being encouraged to use the Firefox Developer Tools instead of Firebug, we'll also have to drop usage of this extension. Would love to continue using this!
