Hide the reference list under bibliography tab

Could we add an option to hide/show the reference list under bibliography tab? It will take lots of space on the screen if there are hundreds or thousands of reference, especially in the Notebook theme.

It is a tab, means it is hidden as long as you do not open it! So, what is the benefit to add an extra layer to hide part of tab?

I know rendering too much tiddlers takes time and makes TW slow, one better solution may be to have a limit on the $list displays the reference tiddlers like +[limit[25]] to show only first 25 references!

I did a test:

1. from https://www.sciencedirect.com/search?qs=metal%20organic%20framework&show=100&years=2022 I exported citations 5 times, each time 100 references.
2. I then dragged and dropped those .bib files into https://kookma.github.io/TW-Refnotes/
3. I clicked process new entries from bibliography tab
4. There is no any sign of slowness

So, I think TW is enough responsive! by the way have a limit on the $list widget can help here! I think this limit can be 100, or 250 entries per page.

Thank for quick reply. I just tested to import all literature in my Zotero library (about 4000). The response time is very fast to open the Bibliography tab.

The limit of 25/100 items per page will be useful as we don't need to see the list in most of times.

I will add a page button in next release to limit number of reference per page (25/100.
