R5 and R6

Hello, on the board schematic, resistor R5 is 39K and R6 is 12K. In the photos of your assembled board, R5 is 10K and R6 is 5K7(?). Why this change? My board has sometimes presented reading errors on diskettes, could this be the reason? Which resistor do you recommend for R5 and R6? Another problem I have encountered is in drive recognition: sometimes it detects the drive and sometimes I have to disconnect the drive's external power supply several times to get it to recognize it... a friend had the same problem. What could it be? What type of cable do you recommend? with the cable from end to end the same or with that inversion of standard PC wires. Great, Willian
