Report character corruption

Hi, I could reproduce the same issue in my environment:

• Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS 64-bit
• Android Studio 2.2 Beta

The Japanese text is not garbled on the Preference as below:

However, the input Japanese text is garbled when I put the text on "Find Action..." Dialog.

So it seems to me the problem is derived from Android Studio, not from your plugin. Probably we should open an issue on https://youtrack.jetbrains.com

Hmm... as you said, it seems Android Studio | IntelliJ problem. I'll read IntelliJ code around preferences later. Anyway thanks!

I tried IntelliJ IDEA 2016.2 Build #IC-162.1121.32, built on July 9, 2016. It also has problem. And, IntelliJ IDEA 2016.2.2 Build #IC-162.1628.40, built on August 16, 2016 also.

I have the sample problem. I can input Chinese in "settings" view, but in the strings search dialog it show as Chinese garbled.
